Basics:
Family Name: Kamina
Given Name: Kira
Name Means: "The spark of the Gods"
Age: 20
Birthday: 11 March
Blood Type: O
Appearance:
Avian(winged humans) female, semi-long gold-brown hair, gold eyes, about 5’10”-5’11”, tanned skin, slender, but not skinny, toned, but not muscular, distant but experienced expression. Distinguishing characteristic: large wings, colored like those of a red-tailed hawk (gold-brown with hints of red), capable of flight, not able to be hidden.
Permanent gold wrist cuffs allow her to create a shield (self-target, ie: only around herself and those near her. On the inside of the left cuff is a ruby-colored gem that allows her to summon a bardiche unique to her.
She wears a long tan trench coat to hide her wings (as best as possible), and her training garb: dark red under armor (sleeve-less top, 1/2 length pants) with dark brown, loose fitting basic clothing (wide-collar, cut off t-shirt and Korean-style fighters skirt).
Abilities and Family Background:
Kira is a master of melee martial arts combat. Her favored weapon is her bardiche, or any pole arm. She also has the ability to turn her finger- and toe-nails into sharp, strong talons if necessary. Her parents, along with the rest of her tribe, died before her training was completed.
Avians rarely use or ponder the idea of “love,” as they are raised for honored servitude. Avian virtues are loyalty, fidelity, and service. They are individualistic in the sense that they enjoy solitude, prefer to work and fight alone rather than in groups or squads, and believe in the good of “man” rather than “men.” Avians are silent intellectuals, observing and analyzing before taking action or making a serious decision. Many generations of civic leaders have made Avians advisors or councilmen in addition to guards.
The Kamina tribe worked as protectors to those they served, and were devoted and loyal guards of the royal court of Arloest, who employed them. Kaminas never fought unless a royal’s life was threatened. When Kira was 12, the kingdom of Raini invaded Arloest with an army so vast; none since have even come close. Kira’s tribe was killed, along with the entire House of Arloest. Kira, with no one left to protect, allowed herself to be taken prisoner, and eventually to be sold. A relative of one of the Arloestian royals, who recognized her as a Kamina, bought her and set her free under one condition: that she lived choosing whom she served instead of being hired.
Current Situation:
Since then, Kira has wandered from city to city in search of someone worthy of her loyalty. She’s made few acquaintances and rarely stays in one place long enough to make friends.
She seeks revenge on the House of Raini, as well as any sign of surviving members of the Kamina tribe.
