((This is an RP post standing as an application form for the house of Kitoma. How the members of the Kitoma family play this out will determine whether she is accepted or not, as could be expected. If she is not accepted, then I will simply use this as a plot point in her story. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope to be excepted!))
Naomi's mind trudged along, just as her feet were doing through the plains that surrounded the Kitoma family estate. The usual calm excitement had settled over her as she walked beside her senpai, and her gang followed behind her. It really was hers. The transition of power had been going on for the last two years, and her Senpai was almost ready to hand it over. And that was the cause of tonight. Some rival gang honestly thought that they could beat Naomi and hers, and so take the members for their own. As if in show to their supposed strength, they had set the meeting to take place on land owned by the Kitoma's. Naomi herself thought it was foolish, as whoever lost may have been charged with trespassing, but then again, maybe that was a good thing.
As they came upon a place, about a quarter mile east of the estate, Naomi could finally see the other group. Her eyes met with the girl beside her. They had come to fight Naomi's group of ten with only four. Naomi smiled. This was going to be comically easy.
When they came up to the group, Naomi reached up and grabbed the metal pole that was strapped to her back, her preferred weapon. It had seen many fights, and was slightly bowed, so it was just the perfect shape and swing for her. She stood with it gripped easily in her right hand and simply stared at the leader of the other group.
After only a half a second of perfect stillness, the fighting broke out. Naomi swung the familiar path among the four others, hitting one in the back of the head, so that the girl lay still on the ground. But then something changed. Members of her own group were attacking her. She looked about with wide, confused eyes. Seven feet away, four girls, some of Naomi's group, and some of the other held her Senpai. She yelled Naomi's name, her voice filled with fear and anguish. Naomi let out a yell, the one simple word, No.
Betrayed.
Members of both groups were bearing down on her, and she fought them off gallantly, trying desperately to reach her Senpai, to help her escape from the four who where now beating her mercilessly. But it was hopeless. Two against eleven was suicide. As her Senpai fell to the ground, unconscious, Naomi screamed angrily again, lashing out at those that attacked her.
It wasn't long before she was overtaken. Though she fought beyond her ability, in the end, she was held by two of the girls, as the others took turns hitting her, sometimes with her own weapon. Finally, with one last sneer, she was hit across the head with the dense metal, and she fell, nearly unconscious.
She lay for what seemed like hours, both groups long gone, and her Senpai with them, having been dragged off. She was utterly alone, and she could feel the constant pain in her side and leg and face blossoming evermore as the sun came up over the horizon. Finally, she tried to move. She had to get off the land.
She crawled slowly, one mangled leg dragging pitifully behind her. When the sun was a good inch above the horizon, she found herself on the side of a road leading up to the estate. Knowing that it was another five miles until she was off the land nearly exhausted her. Her head slumped, and tears of frustration leaked out of her violet eyes. In another instant, her body simply gave up, and she slumped, blissfully unconscious, on the side of the road, one bloody hand extending onto the road.

Kato and Lucy Kitoma were just finishing up training and were heading back to the house. Lucy had on her usual pink T-shirt and tight jeans, while Kato was wearing a white T-shirt with black shorts. Their laughs filled the air as they began walking up the road towards the estate.
However, their moods fell as they saw the mangled body of the young girl in front of them.
Lucy walked up to the body and knelt down to check the girl for a pulse. "What do you think happened here?" Lucy questioned.
Kato walked up to Lucy's side and "Unknown. I don't believe anyone was expecting any visitors today. We should probably take her back to the estate and treat her injuries. Maybe she can tell us what happened." As he said this Kato began to reshape the chemicals in the air around the girls head, creating an anasthetic effect. "Lucy, move, I'd rather you not fall asleep on me."
Lucy blushed as she stood up and backed away from the girl. "Right, sorry."
When Lucy had moved, Kato began to wrap and thicken the wind around the girl and lift her off the ground and straighten her leg, hoping the effects wouldn't wear off. Feeling confident that it wouldn't, Kato lifted her to about waist height and took her up the road and into the house, setting her on a chouch and left Lucy to mend her wounds while he went up to change.

Naomi felt herself come to consciousness, and the first thing she noticed was that she was no longer out of doors. There was no caress of wind, and no rough love of the earth beneath her. Rather, she felt the sensation of either a couch or a bed below her, as well as a small pillow to support her head. Immediately, her mind went into action. Had the gang come back for her? She could very easily be in enemy territory. As she heard the sounds of someone moving not far off, her heart raced. Well, that complicated things indefinately.
Judging the distance of the sound, she deemed it safe to take a peek. Carefully, and under her eyelashes, she looked around. To her left, she saw the back of a female wearing a pink shirt. The rest of the room was light, and well furnished. These people were obviously rich. She looked down over herself, noting with a bit of disappointment that all her visible weapons were gone. The only thing she had left, that she could tell, was the short knife strapped to her thigh. Difficult to get to, with her arms crossed over her chest. She thought, closing her eyes again.
She would have to move quickly. There was no option of stealth. She simply was not in the position to be sneaky. She glanced over at the woman again. Naomi got the feeling that it would not be good to attack this woman, and so she began to think of ways to leave without hurting anyone.
Taking slow, even breaths, she prepared herself. Suddenly, she sat up, watching with horror as the woman turned at the sound. Placing a small hand on the back of the couch, she launched herself over it, drawing the dagger with the other as she fell to the relatively protected ground behind the large sitting place.
Landing with hardly a thump, she spun around toward the woman, her breath coming slow and even again, pulling her dagger up to chest height, so that the woman knew that she had protection if she came too close.
"Where am I?" she asked simply, her dark voice hoarse.

Shocked by the display of energy that the girl had, Lucy stood in a state of shell shock.
Suddenly Kato's voice filled the room. "Now is that any way to treat the person who healed your wounds?" Standing near the doorway, Kato began to walk around the couch towards Lucy's side, making sure to keep a safe distance from the young girl. Kato had changed into a brown business suit with a white shirt and black tie. As he reached Lucy's side he sat down into a nearby chair and pulled Lucy into his lap, aware of her ever growing shock.
"So tell me, what were you doing on our property?" Kato asked calmly.

Naomi's eyes widened as she heard the second voice, and she spun toward it. Her eyes swept around, searching for an escape. But somewhere in her mind, rationality kicked in. They hadn't tried to attack her. Yet. Now was the time for diplomacy, not strength.
Lowering her arm, with the knife, to a less threatening height, she looked at the man who had just entered, taking in his appearance.
"So tell me, what were you doing on our property?" he asked her calmly, the woman now in his lap.
Our property? Naomi's mind asked her. Then it struck her like a bolt of lightening. She must be in the Kitoma House.
"Taking a stroll," she replied casually, not letting her eyes waver again. "I must have tripped."
Though her face was calm, inside she was raging like a trapped animal. Were they going to punish her? They couldn't get the law involved if they didn't know anything about her. It would probably be best if she left quickly, so that they didn't get too good of a look at her. Her body was stalk still as she waited for the man to reply, and for there to be an opening for her to escape.

Kato examined the girls excuse and opened his mouth to speak but it was Lucy who spoke first.
"I hate to say this but there is no way the injuries you sustained were caused by a mere trip. Maybe if you were closer to the Southern part of town, then you could use that excuse. However, you have multiple bruises along your side and face. Your leg was also severely wounded, caused by impact, it seems like you were ambushed," Lucy said methodically.
"My wife is correct. When we found you, the state you were in was not good. However, it is only up to you to tell us what happened. If you don't know, my name is Kato Kitoma and this is my wife Lucy. What name do you go by?" Kato asked a warm smile coming to his face.

Naomi's calculating eyes went from one to the other, measuring the intent of each. Slowly, she slipped the knife in her hand back under it's strap, though her fingers stayed on its hilt.
Never taking her eyes off of the two of them, she replied cautiously. "I am Naomi." It was clear that, at the moment, she had no intention of letting her last name slip. She knew she was getting dangerously close to giving too much information. "And I guess you could say I was ambushed." Here she paused, but it was barely perceptable. "Thank you for your help," she said at last, though it seemed it was difficult for her to do so.

"You're very welcome of course," Kato replied. With a slight pause he continued. "Well Naomi, you say you were ambushed. Where was it that you were ambushed and why were you on our road when this happened? It's a bit odd that you were 5 miles into our land when we found you. Of course if it was one of the other households who did this to you, then we'd be glad to help." He had a feeling that the girl was holding something back.
Leaning into Kato, Lucy whispered into his ear. "Should I go get Wick for this? She's better at talking than you are anyway." Seeing Kato nod, Lucy got off his lap and then Kato got up and walked out of the room in search of Wick.

Naomi just looked at Kato for a long moment, deciding how much to tell him. Just then he got up and left, to go and get someone else, and Naomi was left with Lucy. For some reason, with him gone, and just the woman left, Naomi felt slightly more at ease.
"I don't know who was behind it," she finally said cautiously. "There was supposed to be a fight. Just between my gang and someone elses..." She paused for a moment. "But someone had... bribed, or somehow forced my gang against me and my Sempai. I dont know what happened to her..." She paused again, angry wetness coming to her eyes. She slammed a fist down on the back of the couch. "They turned on me! They betrayed me! And in the most dishonorable way they could! Twelve against me and my Sempai!" she shouted.

Lucy indirectly knew what Naomi was going through and a frown came across her face. Cautiously, Lucy walked forward and gently put a hand on Naomi's elbow.
"It's....always difficult to feel betrayed," Lucy began softly. "We.....well, the Kitoma's, before I met Kato, were betrayed. The family was huge back then. If this is the same case with you, then I'm sure we could help you out. If, of course you want it. Of course if not, then we'll give you back your things and let you leave and wish you best of luck."

Naomi's danger sense came at her in full force. What sort of person just offered help like that, unless they wanted something in return? She stared at Lucy, trying to determine her sincerity. It took all her will to fight the instinct to kill the woman.
She spoke again, as cautious as a cat walking on thin ice. "... What do you want from me?" she asked, putting as little malice in her voice as she could muster. Her violet eyes flicked between the orbs of the other, evidently still cautious to her intent.

"Nothing," Lucy said startled that Naomi would say something like that as a guest. "I'm sure you've lived in a world out of reach of the hospitality of the Yan, but, why would you say something like that here?" Lucy sat down the words she said feeling foreign to her. Her head dropped and her hand swept through her hair.

Naomi frowned. This hadn't been what she was expecting. She watched as the older woman sat, looking slightly flustered. She spoke tentatively. "I... Don't see where you're confused... When someone offers something, they want something in return. You wouldn't just offer your protection without extracting some service from me. No one in the world is that kind..."
She frowned. Things were going exactly the opposite of how she expected them to...

Lucy looked up and shook her head. "The only person I know like that is my brother-in-law Kora. You'd be suprised where you can find hospitality Naomi," Lucy reaffirmed her. "I guess I can't really blame you for thinking the way you do though. Especially after what you've just gone through."

Naomi glanced cautiously at the woman. Her mind was slowly working out the details of the percievable future. If she could ally with this family....
Abruptly, she dropped her angry, cautious facade, though she was no less aware, and fell to her knees in front of the woman, taking one of her hands in her own. "Thank you for your hospitality," she started, her voice thick with sincerity. "I'm sorry for doubting you, and treating you so rudely." Her mind was flying. If they could come to trust her, grant her access to their resources.... "I would gratefully take your offer. I think you're right. I do need help. Would you be terribly inclined to let me stay here? At least until I know that my own home is safe?" She looked up hopefully.
